That actually seems like a pretty interesting concept since it could really highlight how unfair fate is. Though im not sure i could really pull that off truth be told.

I have one big problem with this story I think, you dont show enough. You told us things about your character that you very well could have shown us through his interactions and stuff. Also the time skips to many for how little we really understand the protagonist. I dont yhink its bad so far though truth be told just should’ve been stretched out more.

… is this a charater flaw or just plot convience because If its a character flaw thats interesting.

I dont think I'm fully understanding. What do you want to stomp? And I can understand not liking the style of story telling it has alot of vague terminology and just so much lore but alot of it could be seen as underdeveloped. Like what you can do with most magecraft is just undescribed for everything besides jewel and crest worm.
