But which sword are you gonna use? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Actually, this meme is mostly used to refer to Zhang Zhaozhong, a retired Chinese military theorist who has a habit of making misguided statements when it comes to military affairs, seemingly in a facetious manner. It's not meant as a self-referential title for people who spreads the meme.
Acherus - Achilles Woday - Octavian (Caeser Augustus) Kaiser - Julius Caesar Flame Emperor and Yellow Emperor - Two mythical Chinese sovereigns believed to have reigned antiquity China somewhat five thousand years ago I guess the translator was using MTL here and didn’t bother to fact check the names with the context.
While I agree with you here, in this case it might have more to do with the rampant amount of fanfic content present in the original text, so they'd have to either re-write huge chunks of it to get those removed, or risk getting their pants sued off by the IP holders. I guess they just decided that neither were worth the trouble in the end.
To be fair, using the Death Star to cook a planet full of innocent people would probably be the same thing as cooking an egg in Palpatine's eyes
Actually he's in high school and is about 18, so pedo confirmed :P
Real smooth there, Jun...
Yuantong: *sweats profusely* Jokes aside, this was the author's first book, and he injected a lot of fanfic materials and memes in order to garner attention in the earlier chapters, most of which imo are pretty cringey. However, the story is much grander in scale compared to RoUC, dealing with the life and death of countless civilisations (including the seemingly omnipotent Xyrin Empire), and writing improves dramatically after 500 chapters, which is a lot to get through, but once you do it's worth it.
That’s a mistranslation. It’s supposed to mean that their parents were businessmen(woman)
Don’t worry, it aint going where you think it’s going
