The sword while good is not at the peak of what could be made(with the essence of marrow devourer) but the tatto gun will open up rune insrcibing which could elevate the level of crafting that the mc can do.

You could go with an animal theme for attacks with cursed energy, like claws, fangs, quiles,..., and if there is any curse animal take inspiration from that, having adaptation should let him pick up techniques like that
