Mhm, I read the reviews, and the fact that people rated this low by just reading the the first 100 or so chapters is wild. I can't (I am fucking stupid) rate things accurately in stars so here's a more valid review of mine. The writing quality at the start was, I will be straight, and slightly painful. BUT, it has gotten terrifically better. The writing quality in the recent chapter is 4/5 but just because I had to go through the early chapter typos I will punish sloth with three/five. The updates. Yeah, he cooks daily. One thing though, WHY TF IS EVERY CHAPTER A CLIFFHANGER?!!! Do you like edging people? [5/5] Story development- it seemed generic at the start but after the introduction of an emperor it became really exciting. I am giving it a 4.5 because I liked the build up to Nawrden and the map expansion. Except that... still 4.5 because yes, the story and the plot idea are unique and good. It excites me, not physically, but it does. Char Design? Allura is GOD DAMN HAWT. I am not saying anything else, ALLURA AND FEL ARE GOING TO BE THE END OF ME. [4/5 BCS Skyla's description and pictures do not match. Bad sloth for spreading lies.] World bg- I personally love it. I think it is unique and the chapters after Nux became divine are doing a very good job of universe building. [4/5] What I don't like about SHGS is the lack of a proper antagonist mindset in the arc's villains. TBF this isn't a novel about having one very good antagonist so someone reading this shouldn't take this part into account but since it is my review I write what I want. Arctus, the otherworlders, the few enemies during the exceedo genesis part. All of them lack the mindset of a proper villain. This is why I like Nawrden and Rune's mother as the best antagonists yet. Nawrden didn't give a single fuck about anything except ruling the four kingdoms and Rune's mom was a menace. This fact, where the enemies had their own ideologies and they weren't after nux for women or simply stupid is lost in the story. There are more villains upcoming, the highworlders controlling foxes seem to be good upcoming antagonists so I am excited about that but that's all. That's all I think SHGS doesn't have for a fantasy. harem, ecchi, and op mc novel. Overall a 4.4 out of 5. A genuine threat to sloth--> If you don't stop edging me, I will certainly find you and tickle your balls.
