The image of the High Priestess warning him against the savageness of their ancestor's bloodline, he tried to remember those thoughts amidst the maddening fury. However, no matter what he did, he couldn't calm down. The conflict in his heart, the anger, the desperation… Suddenly, Emery felt a strange sensation inside his spirit core. The dark spirit core was throbbing. It was reacting strongly to his anger and desperation, passing some sort of power through his whole body that he began to feel as if he was burning. They all went inside the Forbidden Forest's mouth and the only light of the torch gave some sense of security as they traveled through the rough terrain. Looking back, the sun's light appeared as if it was being swallowed by darkness the further they traveled.

Fortunately, Michael's confusion and doubts were replaced quickly as he noticed that Reinforced Sword Qi evolved into Qi. Just Qi. Im curious about something @author, if he upgrades everything to 7 or at least 6 before tier 4 will his next promotion cause more ridiculous changes ?
Michael could only nod. He knew upgrading his Soultraits would slow his progress to a Higher Lifeform. However, Michael would also learn a lot more about his Soultraits. Furthermore, every Soultrait with six or more stars would enhance the User's being according to their properties. I think he once had random guess that extraction could extract anything once reaching high enough even the expance itself, any powers of that level are probably not given randomly but who knows
