If you ask why the original author do it : maybe because as all original author he did not think about the rest of the story and choose to cut it now. if you ask why Taboo write an epilogue and don't continue the story himself: maybe because writing a story is harder than translating one and he choose to not do it. He is not the original author and don't speak with him. impossible to know what the original wanted and how to write a good follow up to this story. PS: i have wanted to do write a fanfic on the principle as this one with the same story at the beginning and i don't know what to do myself. Writing a story is more hard than what you think.

This story is a translation thus Taboo is for nothing about it. BUT this epilogue is an original by Taboo. The original did not have it.
