I can totally see them all faking their deaths as part of a plan. 1) Kamito still had 1 eye for Izanagi. 2) Hideki "committed suicide" with natural energy by turning into stone. 3) (guess) Shiken will seal Chomei within himself and "die" with it. 4) (guess) Hiyasu will somehow "die" from triggering the caged bird seal. 5) (guess) Ryoha either survives to hold down the fort and maintain contact with the rest of the Konoha group or uses some kind of suicide Jutsu, maybe even taking Rinko and the dogs with him.
