I don't have much to say that can't be felt after reading the first 2 chapters. The author knows how to flesh the characters out from pretty simple happenings and interactions between characters which I find as a way to skip over unnecessary filler and jump right into the more intriguing parts of the worlds and its inner secrets and the such. Will be updating as i go further along the novel, would recommend reading.

To be fair, Im pretty sure she does have quick cast genjutsu. But is hesitant thinking of the possible mental things hinata could face
As a jonin, Kurenai had a lot of actual battle experience, so seeing through the weak point of Hinata's jutsu was rather easy: Hinata couldn't move while using it. The problem was actually abusing that weak point. Projectiles will simply get deflected by a wall of water. Kurenai's genjutsu doesn't seem to work on Hinata at all and Kurenai didn't know any ninjutsu powerful enough to break through Hinata's water shields. Her next idea was to approach Hinata and attempt to entangle her in a taijutsu battle, but Kurenai quickly realized that the closer she got to Hinata, the more powerful and faster the water jets became. - Milosic2yrReplied to Whitemist

Well, he says they are real and such. But how can he explain the fact that the whole of ANW was Frozen for like a week or something for a PLAYER TOURNAMENT. Like Seriously, he should know such a simple fact but why does he ignore it so much? And why dont the employees use that as an explanation for why the game people are actually just extremely realistic creations. Sure, they exist and they can think for themselves. But why can their whole world be sped up by 1000s of years to pass in a second? Why can it all be stopped if they are real? Sure, there exist those T10 guys who sensed them be Frozen in time, but he doesnt know that.(i think?) He is definitively in a drug like state of addiction to a New reality and realm of life, but now i forgot where i was going with this text so i might aswell post it lel

This novel has a very interesting premise and pretty good characterisation and world building. Although slow moving at times the author does realise that and speeds the plot up accordingly to not get stuck on a certain part too long. I have not read the story in a long while(reread it today) since the very slow update schedule was pretty annoying considering how good the novel is. But i do understand the author has a life and jobs other than the novel, would really love to read more. Hope you all the best .
