On the other hand, it would be stupid system, if host was killed before he was born and hecked reincarnation is prety common thing in this universe and why shoul universe difference between soul energy and material energy, mass etc? Foregin thing is foregin thing, in front of universe, it is all same, something created form original chaos, be big bang or whatever creation theory is popular right now. If you take theory, that all mass is just frozen energy (or what was right term? whatever, english isn´t my language), then it would make even less sense to make exeption for soul energy. Whell, it was quite sudden, you are right in this, but it isn´t plote hole.
