You should fix your plot. It is messy and sometimes hard to understand what's going on. My advice is that you first know what is your end goal and start how you'll accomplish that goal. Divide it into how many chapters each AU he'll visit then write his power gains per AU as to ensure that he's not too powerful in the early chapters.
