Dark Sentry had already found a room in the adventurers guild for the night. What they discovered had left everyone in charge of the town's safety on high alert, and they would soon issue an emergency quest in the morning. That meant Dark Sentry, along with top officials of the town, would be holding a meeting early in the morning. Once adventurers poured into the guild, the board had a piece of paper that was bright red with white writing on it. Everyone who saw this already knew what it meant. It was an emergency quest that was high in difficulty but also high in pay. The lowest rank adventurers that could join were middle bronze rank, and the highest being peak silver. Back at the Inn again, they had met back up with the four sentries from the street cleaning job. It was safe to say that they needed to clean up themselves, he had taken several spares of clothing in case this would happen to with change of clothing the sentries looked good as new and went out to change shifts with the sentries at the store. Angela was stunned to see more people who looked like the guards she hired show up but it was explained to her that they were just changing shifts for the 'men' to go rest. The day was spent questing. Angela was disheartened to see her favorite guards leave, but since they had been summoned, she knew they may be getting a new and better job with the lord. With that, Vulcan made some last-minute preparations for the big day. He had even made a contingency plan and called a little more than 500 sentries near the town as backup in case the plan fell through. Clicking on the Automaton production factory, it informed him that he could place it upon an iron vein to unlock its abilities and for better effeciency. They soon emerged to the surface, and a large grand stone room was present with a retinue of armed sentries. The main doors to the room were open, letting in the bright sunlight in. As soon as the trio walked out, an even larger number of sentries were seen moving around like they were ants. But the most surprising thing were the larger walls surrounding them, they seemed grander and larger than from Jess remembered. They turned around to look behind them and against the mountainside was one of the largest castles they have ever seen. Well, to Jason, it was the first time seeing one. Jess, on the other hand, had seen a few, and this one was enormous. The entire thing was very similar in layout to Minas Tirith from Lord of the Rings. Several stone bridges connected the fortress to other parts, and the pulley elevators were commonly seen pulling several sentries and supplies to other parts. Against the walls were hundred-meter-high sculpted statues of Vulcan himself. The pair couldn't stop gawking, so Vulcan had to drag them to the top of the walls. - Chronicle2715hReplied to xtansarBelow the wall was a large, wide-open courtyard several football fields long, and in it was a massive army of sentries perfectly lined up as if they were ready to head out to battle. The scene left the humans with awe and jaws dropped at how much the golem had increased his forces. Although they were mostly reinforced iron sentries, it was still a far more powerful army than most kingdoms had. Vulcan had built several more production factories ever since he had set up in this place.

He then had an idea; he felt it a little when he fired the blast earlier. He aimed this time straight into the sky, then fired the blast, but this time he kept it firing and turned it into a beam instead of a single shot. A minute turned to five, then ten, and he finally felt his core overheating and stopped. So he could keep the blast going as long as he fed it energy; that was good to know. He then had several steel sentries fight him. As the sentries threw punches, kicks, and even grappled him, none of it worked on this unit. The grappling only worked when more than five of the steel sentries held onto him, but even then, he still couldn't be taken to the ground. In another corner of the training ground was Jason. He was weight training in a gym Vulcan had made for him. The young village chief had a moment of realization from his past mistake of being so helpless against the mercenaries that he asked Vulcan to help him get stronger. Vulcan hadn't considered it since he always saw him as a weak man, but this new resolve of Jason's made him see the man in a new light. He would need people he could use in the future, so why not help the guy? Jess and him sat him down to explain how it was possible for her to increase in strength so quickly and that would have him take a nano stim. The problem was that he needed to be critically injured for it to work. With a determined face, he asked for Vulcan to hurt him. Vulcan didn't ease him into it and went straight to first breaking his arms and legs. Feeling the pain, Jason cried out, and Jess turned around, not wanting to see or hear her him suffer. Vulcan beat him hard enough to the point where he was near death, and that was when he stimmed him. Like Jess experienced, he fell asleep, and the next day he woke up feeling stronger than ever. Overnight he had formed his core and reached the low earth stage. The two weeks after that were spent increasing his muscle mass for his body to handle the strain of his cultivation. Jess explained the stronger their core gets, the more strain it puts on the body to handle all the mana being put into their bodies. Jason soon reached middle earth stage after the weeks of training. The village chief felt like a whole new person after that. He was no longer the weak and useless man he used to be. Now, he was a warrior in the making, one that Vulcan could use for his plans in return for helping him. - Chronicle2715hReplied to xtansar

I thought you might have had some when you first showed me the bikes," she said, a hint of disappointment in her tone. Vulcan caught on. "It's not out of the realm of possibilities. Let's go," he said, surprising her. As if to douse his confidence with cold water, a loud crack was heard below. The trees started to shake violently, and loud impacts, as if something huge was approaching, could be heard. He looked down below to see a creature that was a giant abomination and towered above the trees approach the cliff. It picked up one of the larger boulders that was hurled down below and flung it back upwards.
