Also with the huge blurb about his life at the end of the chapter the word count gets inflated and we pay more per chapter

Seems very out of character from what we’ve learned so far. Velasco supposedly would stand up for people bullying his kid with over tiered bs and now he doesn’t seem to care at all when it actually happens. Doesn’t fit with any of the prior characterization

I love Er Gen and this is quite the funny book. Translation o fit was dropped about 900 chapters in for quite some time. When it was brought back I was very happy, but it is clear that they are basically just copy/pasting machine translations here. Even the names of characters are sometimes translated and sometimes partially translated. There is no continuity of the terms being used either (for example cultivation realms), and a huge number of grammatical mistakes in the most recently translated chapters.

The poor translation quality is really killing this book

It is unfortunate that they discontinued the translation. This is one of Er Gen’s funnier novels and after AWE is my favorite to date. Wish they would pick it back up
