Is there a reason Lith can't feed on the dead monsters energy while in his Eldritch form? Forbidden magic is only forbidden and they're already dead.

Haven't read ahead yet. Transmigration/ "Transmigration of the soul" or maybe re-embodiment. Synopsis says they get a two for one body. The "Original" body rarely gets to tag along. Reincarnation would be a new body. Transmigration is normally just the soul.
