So let me explain, Alessa was the name of the girl that threw silent hill into the dark dimension, on the movie, she split her soul, one still trapped inside the silent hill while the other was adopted in the real world by Rose and her husband. Rose and the adopted daughter, Sharon, the other soul of alessa's, visited silent hill only for them to be trapped inside. but they were separated on the way, that's why she was looking for her. Now this woman Daphne, was the birth mother of Alessa. she found Sharon and took her, basically kidnapped her and locked her inside her apartment. I hope that explains

It was then that I recalled the third installment of the game, The 3rd Birthday. Although it didn't get enough love as its predecessors, the game was, in a way, quite enjoyable with a bitter-sweet ending.
