what a naive bunch, it's understandable for him to have hesitation but to help the man that is ruled by selfish and short sighted emotion, is a bit of a naive thing. So what his wife dies, he can return it with justice. If he concedes, his wife would still be good as dead along with him because he is a liability.

But the cursed gold was always a short term gain for him and wasting 100 souls for a web skill would be a waste considering it's for humans. Like in my opinion the Arianaya would had some uses in the Darksider world. Or just had left her with Fat Tiger as a nanny and then in the future search for her again when he reaches Demon Elite status when needed. Yeah but the it still makes no sense why he would kill him. There are still some situations that would he would benefit greatly from having that Dark Elf. I've noticed that alot, Roy can be greedy yet short sighted at times. Like how is he going to help Benia kill her sister? It would be a lot quicker to let the dark elf go and deal with her and then Roy just has to lay low for a while and let a war between the Demon Lord and the all the races begin and again exploit the situation again. Stating he was injured by the alliance and was still recovering when he stumbled across the Dark Elf and Xeron fighting. Then state he sensed the distrust and animosity, he felt no obligation to help Xeron to fight and unexpectedly Xeron in his rage summoned Armageddon because it seemed the Dark elf did some sort of technique that injured Xeron or somehow reenforments were able to ambush Xeron. And well Roy couldn't do anything because of Armageddon.

I think you're confused, he has 100% Dragon bloodline but the bloodline is mixed with different dragon bloodlines otherwise he's good to go.

additionally it would have been strategically sound since it would speed up the siege and speed up the conquest. If Xercon was that intelligent, Roy wouldn't have been able to undermine his plans.

why rebuild the siege weapons like the catapults? he could have had the low level demons sap the walls since they are good at digging.
