You know, he could also use his vines almost like muscle strands(similar to the obi in Tsugumomo) and attach Them to his arms and legs to add extra strength to his attacks. I doubt it would be difficult for him considering he is a medic and he should understand the forms of muscles, and i also imagine it should increase his Strength exponentially
