late reply but I've always thought that the live action drama was better than the novel as it had less abuse

uhhhh not a review tho I just realised some of the chapters are missing :0 tho at least the story is still comprehensible. Wish webnovel translated all of them, it started missing chapters after the chapter where they found Lin Hao in the mountains

After almost 3 years, I have finally finished this roller-coaster ride of a story. FMHM isn't just a story about the romance between Ning Xi and Lu Tingxiao and Ning Xi rising to the top one step at the time, it's also about overcoming all the awful experiences she went through, especially the trauma of losing her child. FMHM has managed to make me smile, laugh, cry, love frustrate, hate, disdain, all those emotions. However, I did get bored when reading some parts, and I thought there were some arcs that were unnessecary, but they somehow played a role in the latter part of the book. I'd say that's one of the cons of the book. The story is quite lengthy, but it's worth it. The villains and antagonists, the females especially are quite one-dimensional, they keep on getting jealous with Ning Xi, tho every face slaps are satisfying. Though, there were some parts that I couldn't agree on. Well, I guess that's all from me. FMHM is definitely worth reading (and spending money on ;) )

HUWARGH FINALLY took me quite forever to finish this. I'll definitely miss the Bun Family. Wish we could know what happened to the others. The ending felt rushed but at least, it was tied nicely. Farewell, FMHM. You'll always have a place in my heart for being the 1st chinese translated novel I've ever read here on Webnovel ❤
