This story made me believe in love again 🥺 I wanted to know the secret behind why Lin Che is the only girl who is able to touch Gu Jingze without setting off allergic reaction. That is the only plot thread left loose, otherwise the whole story is amazing and makes you feel fluffy inside 🥰

I was going to stop reading this story because of the non-consentual scenes at the start, but I am happy I decided to give it a chance and read the whole story. The story developement gives insight on the back story about the characters and their upbringing and the reason for their hate/prejudice/dysfunctional relations. Finding love and healing is the only way to break the cycle of trauma and abuse, which is evident by the happy ending!

One of the multi-layered stories which focuses more on psychology and vulnerability rather than romance. It makes the characters real and flawed in a special way, so human yet so powerful.

The best book I have read on this platform. I love a strong female lead, ambitious and career-oriented. The mystery revolving around her life has been portrayed in an amazing format. I love the flashback-present alternating format, it's like reading 2 stories at the same time, and everything is interlinked. Really good story-telling skills, I'm captivated by the plot.

I am in love with the plot, story pace and NSFW works. I would have loved a few side-character updates- loose ends to be tied at the end but I'm not complaining, loved the story from start to end.
