To be honest the plot is simply a general version of most other stories. The Golden Finger doesnt really make sense and for being powerful super cliche. Also from reading to the latest chapters, the story seems to be partly written with some type of AI software and seemingly partly edited.

Doesnt make sense in numerous points, He chose Herbet but became Brion, Was the eldest brother of Missy, except her name is Byron. This chapter is all over the place.

Not actually sure what the point is at this point. is it going to be the same pattern, each time? Even the file was wayyy beyond what the us would do as if it was ever found out that goverment is screwed and even if a head of department is backed by a powerful family they arent dumb enough to do what that defense chap has done and get that deeply screwed.

To be fair it makes sense that other companies will try to edge him out, but on the other side its coming across alittle forced. Hes seemingly gone from a future knowing forward planning characture to suddenly seeming to forget about the very things he collected in the future. How exactly didnt he realise nintedo would come back swinging like they did? And whats worse is he still has the better system, all he really needs to do is put some time in and swipe some games like he did the movies and use his choas code to get ahead again. It really does seem to be a section where hes hobbled to try and bring some historically correct sections into the story. Still enjoying though

One thing thats a little nitpick is i think the focusing on the movie distrubtors is a little two straightlines. From the previous chapters and actions the idea that companies such as warner and mgm are seen as a challenge seems a little simple, Creed is becoming what disney or marvel is nowdays they are in comparison to the companies mentioned a whale to a tuna. As its obvious that unlike the other movies, topgun will have toys, games and such come out like back to the future. It really is in a different ball game to many other films. Im just hoping its not going to become a loop of repeated plots, make movies-confronted about movie- release movie- critisized about movie- others try to outcompete- make toys/games - profit and then repeat as it would become pretty stale very quickly.

the other thing is at the stories current time, Russia is very heavily trying to westernize and coming out of their communist phase, regulation and bans werent really a thing till the 2000`s and even then aslong as he cooperated and kept the right people onside it wouldnt likly be to big of a problem. If the choasnet is unhackable and unbreakable software its more than likely the various countries are going to desolve into a clandastine war over who can use it, but they wont draw attention to the system itself, so regulations would send up a massive flag. its more likely discredting actions to take place and trying to downplay it. like saying its only for gamers and slackers and not professionals and such. so pretty much the reverse what happend with the internet.

The amusing thing is that alexander creating and using a alternative internet isnt actually that different from real history. at one point there was really two internets. the second on was i believe based in chile. It only didnt succeed simply because the US CIA decided to make south america their playground and deposed the countries leaders which tanked the project, It allowed the internet we all know to bascially takeover without competition. Also people seem to be underestimating the time period. while yes there will be regulation its more likely to be the US regulating and trying to gain control or tank it to use their own internet, and places like china and russia seeking to give incentives to pull the creednet into their own spheres to challenge the us power.

It would be amusing if he decided to head towards the Judge Dredd version and built up the area into a Mega Block (2-6 megabuildings in the same area usually connected with skyways or walkways) and ended up with cyberpunk version of the block wars.
