There will always be recoil of some sort. Main thing is how much is perceived.

Those as the mechanical flaws from the actual designing of the gun. Only real way to prevent it from happening is loading only 10 of 12 rounds. Unless you modified your gun so no longer does it, but from the sound of this that's unlikely.

If the judges are actually fair it does not matter if you get along with the participants or not. You merely honestly judge them on their performance during the competition.
