No, they are super easy to misread, and seem to be the same name to any english speaker. A better name would be Luo Lin, Luo Li, Luo Long. Fan and Feng look very similar. Not to mention the F_n similarity, a and e look very similar. To any native english speaker they look nearly identical. It would have been 100 times better to not use a L at the start of the brothers name. Feng looks nothing like Ren, or Ran for example. Feng and Dong look nothing alike, Hell even Feng and Sheng even sharing 3 letters look nothing alike to a native english speaker.

That's completely not true. In any fic that's not chinese trash, Characters, especially Main Characters, have growth, and not 'weak to strong', but growth of character.
