You could produce and keep maintaing weapons/armor for the party and you could also use your magic to attack. And you could hide it by calling your class Bone mage.

and because they curve sideways they lose their spinning speed which exsists to keep arrow to not curve. also if it curves it has to move longer distance and waste more energy on steering it to the side.
