Chapter 20 right after teleportation. He heard a voice he had heard before You’ve entered a rift.
First meeting when Wyntor was still alive. Gov said find cure. Anatomy said they were testing cure and had been for like 7 years at the time.
I struggled and ended up skipping paragraphs just to make it to chapter 14. In the first 8 chapters 4 are repeated previous chapters. The book is about recycling scrap (or so one would think from the title ). Instead the mc recycles a bit of scrap on day 1 rents a shop on day 2 proceeds to burn through all his stock of recycling points cringe hits on 2 females. And briefly gives 2 lines about recycling some books before jumping back into hitting on girls. Maybe it gets better once the chapters are no longer free. But I’ll not be the one paying to find out. Almost 3500 chapters in and I’m still loving everyone there’s still a few misautocorrected words in every chapter but 83 times out of a hundred I have no problem correcting them in my head and moving on. I look forward to new essence roses or some other great form of Grimm harvesting now that Michael has his strings back.
The story is okay so far I am currently 170 chapters in. My only complaint is the timeline. I think the author may have gotten confused in his world building. The general premise is mc is a regressor he comes back to 30 days pre-apocalypse and begins the story. So far so good. The book goes through 30 days then the apocalypse happens. The book gives him a mission that goes on for another 30 days (collect X for 30 days). While that is going on we encounter other characters who have supposedly been surviving in this apocalypse for years and years. Uhm how exactly have they been dealing with it for years when we are literally in day 45? The Mc is still gathering resources meanwhile the other characters are already out of the starter village in the larger kingdom and apparently even though the mc is a regressor he has no clue about this kingdom even though he survived the apocalypse for years before regressing. Anyway the continuity is annoying. But the book is good. And I don’t think I gave anything away that’s not in the synopsis so….not a spoiler.
