who knows it might end up being like the ingredients are purchases extreamly cheaply from other worlds. I believe it was dungeon suplier of something that did that.

what would happen if a fey reached higher if not highest quality before evolving?

I think the emergy might play a big part in evolving but maybe its like eevee evolutions and certain materials evolve into certain fey.
In regard to feys, the most difficult aspect was to evolve them. The resources required for each evolution was far beyond what Lin Yuan, an owner of a small spirit store, could afford. - _Nitro_1mthCommented

i mean... just look at that one cult from the Gamer, last time i checked it was doing pretty good.
For efficiency, Michael would need to form a religion or a cult. Both were annoying at best, but religion was safer. People hated cult since it had a history of self-destructive, oppressive or anti-social behavior that everyone appalled. Not to mention casual mass suicide, which was actually quite beneficial simply due to his Domain. - _Nitro_2mthCommented
