Didn’t know that when I posted it. I only had that realization a couple of months ago when I watched a YouTube video about quarks.

Chinese does. There exists multiple characters to differentiate pronouns. That being said the major ones are all basically pronounced the same, with he, she, and they being ‘ta’. They just have different tones. Its been about a year since i studied chinese so ‘ta’ might not be the exact pronunciation but what I said otherwise it true.

Nah, America is just different from the rest of the world that way. Technically the author is correct and it is fine.
