The story is all over the place right now. Author is skipping way too much without giving proper explanation. Why would Sophia just assume that Alexander was having an affair with a married woman etc. And how did the story just jump to her meeting with that perverted client to all of a sudden coming to Alex’s “rescue”?

I don’t understand why she has no money of her own like at all. She’s raised by the former head of the family so I would Imagine that she should still have some of her own money that’s not given by her father. And didn’t she also invest on some things successfully? That was supposed to be before she competed for the heir position. Some parts of this story just don’t make sense.

I still don’t get why she’s being a martyr and putting up with the abuse and maltreatment. How did she reach adulthood and not have money of her own that’s not part of the Valentine family ? Wasn’t she investing in some things before?
She was someone who enjoyed eating, but for the past year, the meals she had eaten at the Valentine's mansion were putting her through hell. There were times were they gave her just disgusting slimy slop to eat or times when the food looked normal but had obscene amounts of salt so that she couldn't consume it. She wasn't safe when she went to the office either with a packed lunch, so she slowly gave up. It became a habit for her to just skip meals. Because its been stupidly portrayed that it’s been a male dominated world even during the time of creation per the Christian bible.
The ratio of males and females in this world was about the same, and it was understandable that the females here didn't enjoy statuses as great as those in the beastmen world. But why was it that he was seeing the females having a slightly lower status than males?
