I believe he got some clothes from the Tainted he had killed before :D.
Thank you for the comment, I really apreciate it! I plan to make another pass on the first few chapters to correct any mistakes and inconsistencies that still might be there. Hope you enjoy the story!
The premise of the story is really interesting and fresh. Civilization/society building is a topic that i particularly enjoy so I definitely will be checking the progress of this novel. Didn't see any glaring mistakes, but honestly, I'm not the kind to pick up on these things. Overall really good start.
Thank you for the comment! I spent a lot of time considering the MC's age and I am aware that middle-aged MCs are not mainstream. My choice is based on the theme of the novel (apocalypse) and the fact that I always considered it unbelievable and a little offputting that highschooler/student MCs are so ruthless and can come up with a lot of the things that are too mature for the people their age (like fully functional societies built from scratch). That being said I hope you'll give it a shot!
A fast-paced story that thrusts the reader right into the middle of the action. Because of that, we can fill as disoriented as the main heroine is at the beginning when she's whisked away to the game world. It definitely helps to relate to her more which is further reinforced by a first-person perspective. The chapters are concise and nicely written, and the language used clear and simple so there are no problems with understanding the story. Overall, a very good read!
The story has an interesting premise and immediately touches upon some sensitive, mature, and really grim topics. I like the main character's backstory, it's fleshed out well and lets us relate to the mc's situation a little bit more. Overall, a really good read.
