Take it from someone who has trained in martial arts, there's a HUGE difference between using your 5 senses in your every day life and using them in the context of a fight/ self-defense. Everyone from a young age can use all 5 senses to do regular things like feeling if something is hot or cold. Noticing if something is burning somewhere or the smell of food or perfume. Taste the food we eat. And hear someone else talk (whether or not we can process the words). But things like feeling the wind and deducing what's flying at you (whether or not it will hit you, at which part of the body, at what timing) and how best to avoid getting hurt by it. Figuring out if someone is trying to sneak up on you (from what direction and how far they are) just by the usually unnoticeable sounds our clothes make. Sniffing out the traces of blood, and/or gunpowder that's stuck onto someone's skin or clothes. Those things require specialized training that may go on for years or even decades depending on the individual's skill. It will take even longer to turn those things from sensing them only when you're paying attention into something you do at all times as if it was second nature (the former puts a lot more stress on the mind long term than the latter).

Mr. World might very well have guessed that I have a Spectator beside me based on that; hence, he became wary against Susie who was secretly observing everyone in the hall… Others might not doubt an animal, but Mr. World is experienced. Uhh... you need to keep your eyes on your opponent's movement and not the opponent's weapon. Instincts on the other hand may be reliable at some point but not when it hasn't gone through a looooooong period of specialized training. And even then you still need to rely on all 5 senses.
