your book won't load anymore chapters...
Keeps on repeating sections of text and omitting what was originally there for example, if the text was divided into parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc, then what is being released to us are parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 4, and then the next chapter is released as 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. So basically, we get a repeat of part of the chapter, then skip a section and pick up the story somewhere else in the next chapter. This has been happening for at least 25 chapters...M4L4DD1CT10N
This is the poorest sequence of events possible. The way Max says he'll come back for her then never thinks of her again until he finds her body, then his reaction without any feelings whatsoever is just terrible writing. It removes any meaning from the event happening. It's now an empty occurrence like they had eggs for breakfast, but no one cares.
I can understand that, but just think about how hard it would be for someone who lived in a stable society like ours for 50 years to suddenly be thrust into the violence filled cultivation world. Not only that, but would he even survive his tumor and the upheavel on earth for them to ever reveal the truth if he had stayed a normal ignorant mortal. I just want these thoughts to come up when it all comes to light. Not saying they can't overcome it as a family, just that it would be unrealistic if these things were to simply be ignored.
Hey author, I finally caught up, so I want to give you my thoughts on Lex's evolving family situation. First, I think it's very right that he is hurt and upset. Think about it, those closest to him have been lying to him for his whole life, even manipulating him to distance himself from them, how betrayed would he feel, especially when he had that inoperable tumor which even without cultivation would have killed him in a few years if he didn't end up suiciding before it got him. Even if they had the prophet tell them he'd be fine until 50, he should tell them he would have died long before, and they never would have known with the distance they forced upon him. Second point I want to raise is how horrible I felt for Lex when his mother got mad at his eldest sister for wanting to leave for war but then said no child of hers would ever cultivate with a less than perfect technique, but for the family, Lex got his technique in a bottle from who knows where. I felt like Lex should never forgive them at this point in time. It's funny, Lex's father is so angry with his own dad, yet he treats his own son as a tool to be manipulated and doesn't seem to even care that he "died", instead going to deal with repercussions without even looking into his supposed death. So that's all I want to say, I hope you can find a way to make the story maintain its high level. Good work!
