Peak victim-blaming logic
Ok now I'm picking up some double standards. The kingdom of Windsor has a bunch of colonies I'm pretty sure they didn't just get by asking nicely, but we're not calling them robbers?
If you like fantasy and the idea of an intelligent Priest MC building a church from scratch with the help of a good education, his goddess daughter, cat army, magic, and more, all the while contending with much bigger churches and getting involved in politics, then this is for you.
I just realized, he's THAT Arthur. Duh lol. Does that mean Marvin is Merlin, or is there another wizard?
I guess I know why every time I'm finished watching scary movies I feel like something's in the house with me. It was my womanly sixth sense warning me of danger! Praise the wonders of biology!
Honestly one of the best novels in this genre that I've come across. I usually don't love system novels like this because it feels like the Protagonist could be anyone, but Gu An is a very likable guy (canonically so), and although he get his strength from system power ups he still has things he learns on his own. Most importantly, all his interpersonal connections were obtained though his own effort, and I think one of the aspects this novel shines at is incorporating all these people that come and go in Gu An's eternal life and how they interact with each other and the world. I like how you can always feel the passage of time even with time skips, time and its effects in general seems to be one of the themes here, and the novel is better for it. And I'm very much liking how this novel treats the female characters. They're just as much they're own people as any other character that has also crossed paths with Gu An, and they're all not throwing themselves at him for the sake of it (and if they are you get why). No harem or romance as far as I've gotten (not that there aren't ladies trying), which I usually prefer so I'm biased, but it also makes sense with Gu An's character and makes the story more interesting if you ask me. It makes me trust that the author actually cares about the characters and their motives. Oh, and speaking of harems, the other male characters are also great! They're not just backdrops to make the MC look good, and the male friendships are just as important as the female ones. I worried the story might get boring with Gu An powering up so easily, but not so far. There's always another conflict, and I enjoy the downtime as well. 10/10 so far.
I thought it was impossible for you to kill?
That's such a short time 🤦♀️
did you wash your hands???
My guy stealing lines lol Did he just come up with that, or does he know of Sherlock Holmes from his original world? Though he would've probably mentioned it by now if so.
