Thanks for the reply, friend. Honestly, I was just giving my two cents. I’m not expecting the author to suddenly change the entire direction of the story or anything. It’s just that whenever I read stories about reincarnating into the past and using future knowledge, I always think: bro, the mystical/supernatural part already happened the moment the MC reincarnated. So why not go a little further and create some more miracle/bs moments? A lot of authors introduce reincarnation, which is already an absurd mystical concept, but then completely forget about the mysticism afterward and make the story fully grounded and normal the whole way through. That’s mainly where my thoughts were coming from.
Well Author, I have a opinion. When he reincarnated, wasn’t that already proof that some mystical power was involved? So why does he still have to grow old and die? Why not make him immortal instead? For example, he could start a medical lab researching immortality. One rainy night, his enemies send assassins to kill him. During the chaos, he gets thrown into experimental chemicals at the exact moment lightning strikes the lab. Basically a Flash-style origin for immortality. By some complete miracle/bs, he somehow survives and becomes immortal. Another interesting part is that his lovers/partners could also benefit from it through their nightly activities/intimate relationship with him. That way, he can actually spend a long life with the people he loves and do whatever he wants without constantly fearing death. And if rich people or powerful organizations try to copy the process, they simply fail or die because his case was a one time miracle tied to the mystical forces behind his reincarnation. That’s why it confuses me when authors introduce reincarnation, which already implies supernatural or mystical powers, but then refuse to fully explore the possibilities. At that point, why not take creative control and go all in with some absurd miracle/bs event? I genuinely think it would be awesome. What do you guys think? Other readers and Author? Is my opinion valid? Waiting for your opinions.
