The MC can’t cultivate normally, so showing off doesn’t really help him in any way and he can learn the sword through skill points.
Tigers can attack from any position
He is starting to see everything as chess
Not in my opinion because he still a kid, so even if it was something other then chess it wouldn’t have really affected much. Honestly the author could have lean ever harder on chess aspects because chess can be engaging if down right but in this situation the author clearly didn’t commit to the idea.
This is arguably could have been the best soul land story I have ever read for a few reasons but it suffers from one of the biggest negative that any story can make which is a perfect MC or Main character. I have read over 200 chapters at this point but there was never tension in any single fight or moment, the MC is at such a level of perfection that the character’s capabilities are reaching a literally impossible to believe level even for a MC, even the original MC of soul land felt a lot more realistic in comparison to this because he still failed at some moments Flaws are also part of a character and without them the character falls flat because there nothing for them to develop on character wise which makes them static. He shouldn’t be good at everything because that make nothing he do actually feel special, if the MC was bad at fighting or was at a physical disadvantage then the debuffing or buffing would actually matter but because he a physical monster that just seems tacked on part of his kit that is just there to make him feel overpowered and the same goes for all his rings but at different levels. I am fine with a OP MC but they still need to interesting beyond just that and this character isn’t because that is the only part of his character currently.
I don’t understand why people think being short is a sin, especially when it makes more sense for the character not to be tall. At that point the character should have just had bigger time skip because this is now entering the counter productive territory.
I like pay back but that was a little to fast
I like MC who can take a beating way more then I like a MC who does the beating because one of them actually gains character from it.
I dislike cultivation stories that have the MC skip levels very early on without any real reasons because it take away any possible weight that ranking up would have and that one of the most important things that happens in cultivation stories.
Yup, he gave up his teacher for hatred, like a true weeb
