Well, when Axel created the energy add-on, he specifically specified that new types of energy would appear by fusion of the ones that he directly created or if certain conditions are met, so yes, we are definitely going to see new kinds of energy. As for the stages of cultivation, yes, I plan to add different stages, each with its own requirements and power-ups.

It is all going to depend on the story arc itself. I don't really try to make both parts of the story have the same importance; sometimes it is going to be more about the real world and sometimes more about Axel's world. Right now, Axel's world can't really maintain something as powerful as a phoenix, so we are going to have to wait a while until the beast reaches that level.  As for beasts gaining sapience, as it is right now, it would depend on their kind or on the individual itself. Some beasts will become more intelligent as they grow stronger, some even reaching human intelligence, while others will focus on becoming the perfect killing machine, remaining mindless beasts for the rest of their lives.

They appear in the real world.  In the future, if we are not following what's happening inside Axel's world, you can expect me to always refer to the real world, unless I say otherwise, as I will always talk about "Axel's world" or "the inner worlds" or something like that.
