Now I'm understanding 😂

The story is cool. However, i like neither of the main characters. The story make them sound too perfect, like they can do everything, and the way people praise her (tangning) for little things gets annoying. The mention of "bottom line" and "an eye for an eye blah blah" is too much in the story. Like we get it, you dont need to mention Tangning's bottom line all the time. They always try to make Tangning look like a saint, like she is one holy and perfect person, which ends up making her sound unrealistic. PS. i probably am complaining about a lot of irrelevant things. it's just that, when i start to dislike a character in a book that I'm reading, little things that the character does just starts to piss me off (even when it shouldn't). So please bear with me, cause this is just an opinion.

i have tried deleting this book frkm my library several times but it just doesn't want to delete. i never added this to my reading list neither have i ever read this book before so i dont understand why it is still in my reading list.

I started reading this book with high hopes cause i like books that has to do with the entertainment industry and life of a superstar. I have a lot of issues with this book First is the female lead. She is one of the most annoying female lead i have ever read in a book if not the most annoying. She is very very idiotxc most of the time. She doesn't understand her feelings at all and has little to no character development imo. To sum it up she is a confused person. The love story is also quite annoying aswell, especially Peiziheng and Xialing love story. I dont understand why she kept forgiving him. Lilei did make mistakes by non consensual intercourse twice in the story but at least he apologized unlike Pei (but it still isnt justifiable) The villains where quite good. I think that is one good thing about the story. we can understand clearly why the villains are villains. My favorite character in the book would be Shaohui, Luoluo and Xiamoyan. My least favorite character is obviously Xialing The character that i want to hate so much, but have a tinge of pity for them at the end of the book would be Peiziheng. as much as I hate to admit the only few times i cryed in this book were because of Peiziheng and once Lilei i didnt read the side story of there daughter cause i lost interest when it began with her getting rxped.

why am i crying...i hate him and i shouldn't feel bad for him. But his life is just too sad. He really lived a lonely life. i wish he could go back in time to an alternate universe and have a chance to right his wrongs and live a happy life in the alternate universe with Xialing. I will just pretend that's what will happen just to make myself less sad

i really dislike the female lead....shes very annoying and make dumb conclusions to things. even if lilei was truly pretending to care about the baby. he still has every right to visit his grave. That's the least she can do after denying him of his right to knowing he had a son. But here she is saying there's no need for him to visit the grave since he doesn't care ... like bxxch why would he care, if he doesn't know

A good book...i dont think ive read anything like it. im usually into romance books, i never would have imagined that i would like a scifi book. Its also very inspirational. I am curious though if there is a continuation to the story...post 25years?

the book ends at 173....is it complete or not?? I would like the author to clarify of its complete or not. However, the book is really nice. I enjoyed it a lot
