Wish fulfillment novel. Read till ch86I originally dropped this novel on ch40 but gave it another try...First, I wouldn't recommend reading this novel for anyone older than 17. MC design is very lackluster, and I'm sure this novel is only popular because of the smut scenes and the OP tag...There is little to no actual tracking of stats. author makes it up as he goes. creativity on and design of equipment/skills is eh. follows the basic elements. At the pace of the MC he should have 20 or so SSS skills by ch100 im assuming the author won't but I mean 50g = 1 legendary and 1 SSS skill and a recent drop was 6 gold from one monster... so if he doesn't by then... assume the author isn't following his own logic.Overall a novel that reads like a fanfic and feels like a YA/kids novel. even though it has amut scenes lol
?? I guess we just shouldn't care about how the skill is represented and should just assume the author is going to make it so it fits whatever narrative he's going for. You shouldn't even show us his stats at this point with such a glaring plot hole.
7*
ahh I'm glad he realized... i feel like most authors on WN choose the trope; ignorance.
the indiscriminate slaughter of millions all for the pleasure of one man... truly horrifying and introspective of mankind :D
that's what my grandma tells me and I'm a guy... SIGH
current chs read - 50 The novel is centered around what once was a Kid Assassin forced into a Military Academy by his uncle. The novel itself is well written but, sadly I don't agree with the way the MC acts. Yes, you could chalk it up to PTSD from being raised as an assassin... But I can't. I see no correlation between his constant and I do mean CONSTANT laziness and lackluster attitude for everything around him. MC complains about not being able to fit into society but snubs the perfect opportunity to fit back in. honestly infuriating. He joins a military academy. The whole sequence so far to me personally whos been in the military is eh... Rank is thrown around but he is "special" and doesn't follow orders or respects rank? in any real world setting he would've been kicked out for insubordination. doesn't matter if he got "recommended" infact him being a callow is more than enough for his actions to warrant expulsion. overall though the author does a great job at making you feel a certain way and I would probably read the rest of the novel but I wouldn't enjoy slogging around until his Character Development arc. Tbh I started to skim read because my brain would say "oh he's just gonna be lazy and somehow fk it up" anyways those are my complaints but it doesn't detract from the actual story as its very well written and overall a good story. thanks for the chapters author!
racism would be. "If you're from Japan you are not allowed to buy this item and if you get caught with it you get executed or jailed." and the flip side being "everyone else but japan can use said item" At that point you're excluding a race and imposing harsh punishments on said race for no other reason than they're from Japan.
I'm not saying u didn't explore other morals by the drogar bit I literally meant culturally more indepth. Learning about that society was really fun thanks for that! I understand the idea of each raven having their own morals but I just felt like that when you introduced Amal officially she immediately commandeered the group and it felt like a moral "hijacking" even with the build up of Eva's understanding of herself and greed.
Well tbh I'm not irritated by exploring morality Its more irritating with the way it's served as an extremely idealistic version. Morals are social constructions to begin with. Especially in the deep space. What you touched on in the POW arc was intriguing and honestly I wish you did expand on the differences culturally on the drogars. I digress. anyways to have the MC and her crew locked by morals and in turn having them react based off those morals and not consider or explore the fact that in the outer colonies their morals would be vastly different than the cushy planet/city dwellers. even on earth everyone's morals are intriguingly different. To say bad is bad and good is good and then lock them into such a base form of morals is idealistic. idk if I'm making sense or rambling but eh
question for you author as I um no offense i dont want to continue reading after Amal joined the team. It seems as if you're trying to go for a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe and the whole morally incorrect or correct stuff is really and I mean really irritating. I understand Amal is supposedly some sort of Saint reincarnate. But because of that I feel as if Eva and Miko are losing their personalities and the direction of the whole group feels like a series of side quests.
