After a while, I decided to head back towards the main house to see if Lady Mikoto was done with whatever she was doing. However, just as I started my way back to the main house, I felt a sudden, sharp pain at the back of my head. The world spun around me, and darkness quickly swallowed my consciousness.

She responded with a delighted coo, her bright eyes focused intently on my face. As I watched her, I couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility and warmth. Babies were quite adorable, so much so that I kind of wanted to hit something. Is this what they call cute aggression?

Normally, Marineford is heavily guarded, but only relatively speaking. After all, this is Marineford, where the Navy's top forces, including Admirals and the Fleet Admiral, are stationed. It's not like any pirate would be bold enough to attack the Navy Headquarters directly.
