Polygraphs or "lie detectors" don't actually detect lies. They monitor your blood pressure, pulse, and how much you're sweating. Many people get falsely imprisoned simply because the presence of a polygraph makes them nervous. So as long as you stay calm you can BS your way through a lie detector.
