great story...didnt really care for the party aspect. didn't like Quinn. I thought is should have been MC. his mom. & Luna only. everyone else was super not needed. then they go to the dungeon where the dragon sends his ppl away. cause he will get stronger by himself. then it got weird. and boring. an all i wanted was for the party to come back. sigh

yes...i agree. there was absolutely no need or reason for the MC to get involved here. he keeps sticking his nose in everybody business then acts surprised when ppl start noticing him. he quickly then goes around like a scared kitten hopping to get through unnoticed.

it's just simple pure jealousy. 1. MC tells Mia she can advance & get vastly stronger via dual cultivation(something of that same lvl) she was jealous & indignant on Mia's behalf. 2. he's better then her. 3. when she did swallow her pride & ask him for help...he offered her a slave contract...something she thought was beneath her! why? cause he should have helped just because she asked...she was slightly flirting & thought that would persuade him. she got upset & indignant because she could not get her way. now she must prove she's better & making him pay is just icing on the cake
