I came over to see if I was the only one thinking this: the quality of the fic has dropped—it’s become too "hot-blooded," and I’m not a teenager anymore, so I’m not into that. The Harry party segment was way over the top.
you know this is not our first rodeo.
There is no soul in this story; it’s just a lot of yapping with no interaction between the characters, and from Chapter 11 onwards, the writing devolved into the worst kind of AI-generated slop.
that's it for me.
what's the point of this story then? why post such garbage
The protagonist's cowardice is starting to get on my nerves; if he lets Duy die, I'm dropping this piece of shit for good.
This author isn't very good; everything feels forced in an attempt to make the protagonist seem "cool," but he ends up coming across as arrogant and insufferable. If you want your character to seem interesting, it needs to happen naturally—through the narrative and his actions—rather than having you, the author, constantly telling me so. Another major downside is that special, one-of-a-kind wand the protagonist gets; not even Voldemort managed to get one of those, yet our Chinese protagonist does. Finally, I hate that this fanfic starts exactly like most Harry Potter stories out there (receiving the Hogwarts letter, going to Diagon Alley, visiting Ollivanders, taking the train, the Sorting Ceremony, etc.) without anything interesting happening to hook the reader; he acts like a robot, simply following an automatic script.
Oh, no! Not the "special wand" cliché! That’s a huge red flag and tells me right away that this work is going to be trash.
