Alex said that. Having healing powers and having Light attribute are slightly different. Some people have healing powers but they don't have light as an attribute. There are also Light users that can not heal.

Ale hadn't even realised how much pain he was causing the people around him by being so carelessly ignorant about his own health and safety. That guy simply didn't care enough about his own self to do something so small as healing those scars.
