Alex_McGinnis8mthPostedI loved the time period of the start. It allows you to explore the time period an think and learn about the difference the further along the author got in the story. But it is still considered true that without the dark ages and the religious wars the technology might actually be at the level it states in the book at the end. The characters were well thought out with their personalities that it complemented the story and the other characters so well that you can’t even tell this is the first long term web novel written.

Though the British did help in the Bismark’s destruction the germans scuttled the ship by detonating explosives below the water line. Though this wasnt found out till several decades later when the wreck was looked at.
