1. The confrontation of Leo and Arthur, the shadow user Quinn awakened in the orange planet. This can be really interesting. Will they fight? Leo can endure Arthur until he sees the ring, which will then catch Arthur's attention. Or maybe Leo will remember the aura he felt when Arthur awakened and run away, then Arthur will catch up to him up since Leo is the first vampire he sees? Arthur will see the ring and Leo will mention he got it from his master, which will lead Arthur on a journey to find Quinn, the person who awakened him. Then Arthur will see Quinn's shadow ability and think Quinn is part of his family, so he teaches him more about the shadow ability. 2. Giving the ring to Leo increases his chance of survival. Sure, the ring is really fucking good, but Quinn already revealed his equipment to the public. He can just wear it whenever he likes to counter the consequences of the sunlight. So Quinn either keeps a ring he doesn't really need OR protect his friend, his teacher, and a really strong ally who will serve Quinn as a Vampire Knight in the future (as the system foreshadowed). 3. It shows the part of Quinn that's still human.

Aww, this is so sweet. Although this means that Leo and the shadow user Quinn awakened will have a confrontation. Leo will be travelling to different worlds, and if the vampire senses his aura and sees the ring, he'll think Leo was the one who awakened him.
"Then before you go, please take this." Quinn removed the ring from his finger and threw it over to where Leo was. For a brief second Quinn forgot he was blind and was afraid the ring would just hit the floor.
