I'm presuming the cultivated world you expected leans more towards a xianxia like the author mentioned in the previous chapter, and since it's a wuxia world it's likely to be more grounded with super strong people but not full on immortals with multiple levels of cultivation, which seems reasonable since MC is focused on healing Stencil and an immortal cultivation world would be needlessly dangerous for his purpose

All of Wang Yao's commentary on abandoning your wife is kinda annoying, when he should be perfectly clear that the marriage is for the disguise not yty's. He feels very judgemental about two folks who have no relationship whatsoever splitting after the disguise is not needed; at least with yty's fiance there's some societal relationship and their past life to connect them, but this Miss Gao is completely new to yty and I don't see him feeling like he abandoned someone he doesn't know.

I think the reason why the father kinda ticks me off is because he reminds me of the MCU Odin-Loki relationship, where the powerful father has all these expectations of the son but gives him no information and is disappointed/judges the child for not ending up the way he wanted or at least reaching a certain standard. Also, the fact that the father doesn't feel his son is doing enough does make me wonder if even he was able to reach Core level + multiple Sword Domains at yty's young age and with at least Heaven+Upper heaven+middle heaven-level threats hidden from you and threatening & controlling your very life path.

FYI: These comments are being stated with no intention to insult your writing or critique just for the sake of critiquing, I'm just trying to elaborate on how I'm perceiving the father-son relationship at this moment. I understand his thought process with hiding info about the troubles esp. since the powerful enemies would be able to detect yty. I think the part that I thought was a little hypocritical on his part was the comment about not understanding his family's potential, when yty was doing the best he could with his knowledge and being focused on cultivation would have been the natural assumption since he's never had close relationship with others (due to the whole Heavenly emperor prediction + peers' jealousy) and his parents being very hands-off. Also, the sheer fact that yty is kinda a cultivation-maniac who has no care for other things which is one of the reasons he was so stoic in his previous life seems to undermine the comment about him being scheming, which I felt was much more of a recent personality quality in trying to fight against heavens' plans to get his hands on the tokens/emblems.

While I understand his lack of allies is partially his fault due to his stoic nature and sole focus on cultivation, it doesn't really help that he has unknown Upper Heavens enemy, the Heaven itself (where he effectively was its puppet in a time loop and emotionally manipulated), his father's enemies both in the Middle+Upper heaven, being paraded as a Heavenly Emperor pre-birth pushing most folks away, and general lack of knowledge on his own family's capabilities since it's out of need to protect him from others' detection. It makes his general disconnect from his family's potential seem like a logical one and that comment about familial potential seem useless when he wasn't ever informed of half his family's stuff/info and only knows a smidge through breaking a time loop and reaching a cultivation that is usually impossible for those his age (seeing as his father told him even less info in his previous life for being too weak at the time).

I hope not. I can see his emotional development and getting the Emblem of Luck w/o killing the elder sister enabling him to be with the older sister. However, I can't see him changing his opinion on the younger sister since she's one of the direct causes of his death alongside Wang Yao; I can see him possibly him letting her live for the sake of the elder sister but to get together that seems like a stretch and I haven't been much of a fan of that potential pairing since emblem Wang Yao suggested that the mc make her fall in love so she doesn't end up with younger Wang Yao. Either, she gets a new love interest (since transmigrator is annoying), they simply stay friends which I don't think is a bad thing, or possibly return the original Wang Yao b4 he was possessed

While I understand why yty was left out of the loop of the bigger secrets, but doesn't it defeat the point if those forces are already targeting him and he's oblivious target for the world's strongest, and the sheer fact that he died in the previous timelines shows that this so-called attempt to protect him failed. And only the impossibility of knowledge of a previous life has given him even a small chance of surviving.

At least there's a father who does share some info with his child

Since Future Ye's was destined to die at the hands of Future Wang, only to be raised from the dead w/o his memory by the system does that mean Fang Chen was also killed in the original timeline by the Future Ye and brought back to life to later be used and effectively everything from Vol 1 up until his decision to kill Future Wang instead of sparing him was predestined. I'm not expecting an answer just wanted to get this out of my head cuz temporal paradoxes hurt just thinking about them

Since this basic information is known to everyone, I wouldn't really deem it a spoiler, and simply wanted to give constructive criticism that an earlier comment by the MC about his father & Shi Yan when the Chaos sword technique was being discussed went against this very common knowledge of emblems
