D*mn, the fatphobia is rampant in this story and it’s making me deeply uncomfortable.
Look I am not particularly fond of Jeremy either right now, but the way some of you guys are bashing him is too much. Yes he is being too desperate and affectionate towards Ana and giving her mixed signals just when she wants to end this, but I would hardly call this Male White Lotus act or sick behavior like some of you are putting. If anything his behavior hints that he subconsciously has romantic feelings for Ana and that he likely had those feelings in the previous timeline too, but he never realized it back then because Ana went full on Villainess mode instead being so sweet and selfless in the current one. You know the saying, “you never know what you got until it’s gone,” and Jeremy will be feeling the full brunt of those feelings. Also those of you who are thinking we are finally getting rid of Jeremy and that we will meet the male lead in Paris, I suggest you don’t get your hopes up, because this could just as easily be a story about Ana and Jeremy ending up together. I mean some of their scenes are far too angsty, tender and intimate and that can’t be ignored. And don’t forget the most important part: Angelika. Yes, Jeremy is too annoying, too soft, and a bit too callous right now but I don’t think any of us are okay with Jeremy, who overall is a good person, to end up with a mass murderer like Angelika. Let’s spare this poor guy.
The gif you used has me stItches 😂
WTF? A cellphone that costs 1.2 million euros??? Does he have a goldvish le million mobile or something??
I hope you readers FINALLY realize why her mother wanted to lie on Madeline's behalf. She knew her younger daughter would respond this way. A mother caring so much about the happiness and well being of her daughter should be COMMENDED not scorned.
This is so sad. No wonder she willing to lie to the king and commit treason in the process if he shows interest in Madeline. Her happiness means so much more to her. What a true and loving mother. 😚
I am really liking Frances. She really respects the wishes of Madeline and supports her unconditionally. Now, this is what I call a good mother. If only the rest of the readers could see that way 🙄
It seems as if the readers have gotten so used to motherly figures being straight-up demonic to the female protagonists that they can't see what a great mom Mrs. Harris is.
I am really surprised at how much hatred the mom is getting from readers. How on earth is caring about your daughter's happiness so much that you are willing to commit treason to ensure she marries the guy she likes a bad thing? I would have issues with Mrs. Harris if she did the opposite and was okay with destroying Madeline's heart. Some of you readers are really biased as ****. Madeline isn't a toy to be handed over to the king. She is allowed to have her opinion, desires, and what she wants in life, and there's nothing wrong with her mother respecting her wishes.
I am pretty sure Mrs. Harris is saying this because she knows Madeline doesn't want the courtly life like Beth. The mom has made time after time clear she CARES what her daughters want and she unconditionally supports them both for it. Stop assuming the worst about her, you guys. Geez.
My guess is that Beth is more of the charming, outgoing social butterfly that people tend to gravitate towards. Since society tends to favor those who are extroverted of course people will like Beth. Madeline on the other hand is more the proper, elegant ice princess. That demeanor and presence can be daunting and intimidating to some people.
Beth sounds like a caricature version of what ***ist people think Anne Boleyn was like. 💀💀💀
