i think she did that unconsciously, because aside from croyso castle, she only lived in calypse castle and she didnt think od croyso castle aa her home. it almost like when you go to your friend house, you will compare their bedroom to yours, or how big their house to yours. and in maxi case, she considers calypse castle as her own home. even when we know croyso castle is bigger and more luxurious, she compared everything with calypse insted. i found this endearing, how the writer want to convey that maxi felt like home in calypse castle. 😊😊😊
