this is backward... blame the victim. Always. Especially if the victim is woman
This isn't a cheap writing. Pace is great, no superflous wordings either. Often in mixed-PoV narrative though mostly in 1st person. Overall tone is serious, with some lighter settings, but never make you laugh out loud. You can easily picture an anime or live action moments in your mind as you read. Currency isn't a mystery (1 unit in the novel = 1 KRW), you can gauge the value of money and can map the characters' wealth in ur mind. There are layers in the plot, like onion. There also a lot of satisfying moments. MC's not omniscient nor OP (which is awesome). Now for the downside: It has an interesting plot and istg a fun read, but it never truly makes you *emotionally* invested in the scenes and/or the characters. You also don't really feel the peril the characters were in.
okay dropped
same here
Hmmm... I remember my baby's 1st bday... It was at home. During covid
Pls learn about baby's biology... Brain development (including nervous system) isn't complete until 5-6 years old. The soul is thrnsame but the casing is different. Also, pls learn how babies see the world. They can only see red, and they cannot comprehend distance so everything looks 2D for them. There's no way a baby body is capable to do all the musings and observings Michael could. I know this is a fiction, but fiction also must be grounded by facts... If you read this, pls improve accordingly...
as a middle class of a modern world, I agree w/ this statement
or a sign for a character developlent arc... for a 35 year old man (?)
