Is the padre having visions? hallucinations? Or just "normal" talking out loud. So something must have happened to frustrate him so he'd pray to some existence for superpowers on the next day... the powers he displayed in the first loop were fate related? So maybe he prayed to some high sequence monster pathway beyonder? Surely not to our beloved ice cream snake, right? Then maybe Ouroborous? Ouroborous is a servant of Adam though... so does Adam have any stakes here in this loop business? Many questions and easy to derail with hypothesizing.... Let's just see what cuttle comes up with!
