It must be hard. Trying to portray the "Celestial Empire" as creative monsters capable of out-classing other countries when it comes to story-telling ability 10 to 1, but still make it seem like it's hard for anyone at all in China to create competent scripts for the Level S Nightmare Dungeons. Guess that's what happens when you write yourself into a corner by including this level of xenophobia.
:/
Suuuper unrealistic. Most people not from China, those that have any idea of what's actually going on in China, call it "The Land Of Shortcuts" for a reason.
isn't that literally his plan too, though? to get massive amounts of people playing his game?
if it's goal is to harness "evil" desires and emotions, it's odd to me that this being doesn't seem to "comprehend" what they're talking about.
The CCP surely are some pieces of... well, they're not very good people. But you're looking far too deep into these sentences.
what a completely random thing to say. Are you projecting or something?
at this point, the second i realize the paragraph is just about glazing a character, i immediately skip past it. and y'know what, haven't missed anything of importance. crazy
of course this convenient plot device that'll inevitably disappear the second a beautiful woman appears in front of him. fantastic :/
bruh, these guys are idiots. "This woman that just married into a rich family as a second wife stumbled upon a horrific murder scene. It just so happens that both the first inheritor of the wealth, AND the second died. Now she seems to be the only one left to inherit the wealth... I wonder what happened here... Oh well! It doesn't matter anyway."
I like how the author specifically says that something is one thing, and then a random NPC like you says "he could've-" like ffs, there is no "could have", "should have" or "if" in this scenario. The person who created the story said that the man was undoubtably a good person, and as such, he's a good person until the AUTHOR says otherwise. Why are you like this? It's like the internet has conditioned people to point out the possibility of someone being wrong the SECOND they make a statement. "I like apples." "Yeah but what if you didn't?"
this is my only problem with this novel after reading a few hundred chapters. There isn't enough focus on TEACHING. It's just like, there's 2-3 chapters of actual teaching, intermingled with copious amounts of face slapping, and then dozens of chapters of other stuff intermingled with copious amounts of face slapping. It's just like, why make an entire world where the ranking system is about "teachers" and then you know, make barely any chapters of him really teaching. And I'm not gonna lie, face slapping is cool and all, but there really is a limit to when it sort of just becomes repetitive.
this sort of act is so mind-boggling. The meatball knows how important face is, yet the main character willingly INITIATED the bet. You know what that means? He's gonna win it. IDIOT!
if that's the case, i'm surprised the wandering cultivators don't form into a giant clan to take on, or down, the big clans. Didn't it say that they outnumber the big clans 10:1 or something like that?
You could change that though, make it better.
am i the only one that likes this type of female character more than the stereotypical "ice white skin and jade legs" beauties?
thanks for the definition, it doesn't really suit this though. he's simply calling a girl pretty
to be honest, this is the dream life. Running your own cozy cafe, a bed that feels like heaven and an amazing pc battlestation. I would love that life.
