The Author is not being inconsistent here, he sacrificed all that exp to level up his ring and skill. As, equipping the legendary ring, it can wait because, if he equips it now then he will be losing a lot of attribute points. As, he is only a tier 0 player right now. If he change his class from Tier 0 to Tier 1 at level 34 then he will be losing 4 extra attribute points per level that he could've gained from level 20 onwards of he completes his class change while being on level 20s. As, the free attributes point gained in each level while being a Tier 1 player is 4 points more than the Tier 0 player, i.e 8 points per level. Which would be a massive loss. Just do the calculation, from level 23 to level 34 that is 12 levels, now do the math 12 x 4 = 48 points and also 2 x 10 = 20 points. Add both these together you get 68 free attribute points that he will lose if he changes his class at level 34 instead of level 22 or 23. I hope my explanation has cleared your confusion.

To all the fellow readers, who have questions like "why he is levelling up fast and where Anna is?". I should tell you that he is grinding level 60 and above monsters right now wile being only at level 35 or something. Which means he is at least getting 20 times the normal exp rate. So, even after 70% deduction, he is still getting a lot of exp. As for those who are asking where his personal guards Anna and Kite are, well they are leveling themselves up through quests from adventurers association or through other means. As, their level and combat skills will not increase by just following him all the time.

Levelling himself up through quests and adventuring. He may be his personal guard but his level and tiers won't increase with his master's. He need to level up as well and on his own. So, please stop asking this question.
