I'm not certain but I think the Author meant that he has enough fuel for 600 hours of light... could be wrong though, wouldn't surprise me...

I've read a few books that didn't differentiate between them till much later but yeah, generally in these kinds of books you have saber/blade arts and sword arts as 2 different styles. Some of them are also like "a blade art can be used with anything with a blade but a sword art can only be used with a sword". So there's also that possibility.

if I'm remembering correctly it was 1 extra skill point per job level. not per level. as he has no job he has no job level and thus no extra skill points. I think his overall level and his job level will be tracked separately as he could spec into every job. if he's a lvl 5 wizard, a lvl 6 knight and a lvl 4 blacksmith his overall lvl would be atleast 15 but his job lvl for wizard would only be 5 thus he'd only have up to 10 points to put into wizard. or atleast, that's how it seems to me, could be I've misunderstood something somewhere and am wrong.

it could be a case of it seeming to be smaller while actually being the same size. like it could be that his room had a lot of empty space and thus felt large while the farmyard/house has comparatively les open space due to having housed more people and thus felt smaller. trickery of the eyes and all that.
